Movie Review: By the Sea

A story about a couple having difficulties in their marriage goes to a quiet town in the island of Gozo for a last-ditch effort to save their marriage. Set in the 1970’s, the movie opens with Brad and Angelina dressed impeccably, Brad drives a classic convertible car. The acting was on point and the picture quality is visually stunning, cinematographer Christian Berger, used mostly natural light throughout filming. The narrative escalated slowly, it helped that Brad and Angelina were good to look at, I stayed awake. Another thing that I like about this film is their relationship. Despite having problems, they have a quiet comfort which can only be achieved by years of being together.
